We have made Jesus soft. We have sanded down every hard edge until all that is left is a gentle teacher who would never offend anyone. That is not the Christ of the Gospels. The Christ of the Gospels said plainly that He did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
He meant division. Truth divides. The moment you follow Him with your whole life, lines get drawn. Friendships change. Family tables get tense. The world that loved you when you blended in turns cold when you stand for something it hates. Jesus told us this would happen so that when it does, we would not be shaken.
This design puts that truth where you can see it. Christ crowned with thorns, the cross behind Him, the sword in His hand. Not a mascot. Not a life coach. The King who walked into His own execution on purpose and walked back out of the grave.
When you wear this, you are saying you have counted the cost. You are not looking for a comfortable faith. You are following the One who carried a sword to the soul and a crown of thorns to Calvary, and you are not ashamed of either.
